About this journey
Eighteen quiet islands — a short note on what you can expect.
An archipelago of grass-roofed houses, sea cliffs two thousand feet tall, and weather that turns four times before lunch.
We've been running this trip since 2017. We know the weather, the handful of private homes that will hold a last-minute reservation, and the small change in the itinerary that makes all the difference. Every version runs differently — we design it around you.
Highlights — a short list
What you'll remember.
A helicopter hop between islands
Dinner at KOKS, the two-Michelin farmhouse
Private crossing to Mykines, puffin season
Long walks along the cliff at Kallur
The itinerary — a draft
Your days, roughly.
We treat this as a starting point — everything is rearranged around weather, your pace, and the things we find along the way.
Day 01
Tórshavn
Met at Vágar. A slow drive through the tunnel under the sea to Tórshavn. Dinner overlooking the old harbour.
Day 02 — 03
Streymoy & Vágar
Saksun in the morning light. A short hike to Múlafossur. Private boat to Vestmanna's sea cliffs.
Day 04 — 05
Mykines & the puffins
A weather-dependent crossing — we move the day around the wind. Overnight in a three-room guesthouse.
Day 06
Kallur lighthouse
Drive north, ferry across, walk out to the most photographed lighthouse in the North Atlantic.
